Promised Land – Syrian Refugees in Iraq
The war of the Syrian regime against its own population has triggered the world’s largest refugee movement since the massacres of Rwanda 20 years ago. There are 21 million Syrians. Nine million of them are on the run, most major within Syria. In the neighboring countries Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey and Yemen fled about 3 million
people to in mid April 2014.
